Inktober Day 8: Herd

Today's goal: get some fricken depth in these pictures, like damn they were flat. So I tried.

But I also had a blast drawing my beautiful boulder cow babies (technically they're called stone oxen, but I will nickname everything if not supervised so..).

They're very sleepy, lazy animals, but that just makes them easy to watch and all the better for dragon fowl to perch on. Though when you've got an angry set of claws and eyebrows riding around on you it's a bit hard for your handlers to actually herd you.
